Junior KG (LKG)





The Lower Kindergarten (LKG) stage plays a crucial role in shaping a child's learning foundation and is designed for children typically in the age range of 3.5 to 4.5 years old.  At this stage, children are introduced to various subjects that lay the groundwork for their future education. Here's a brief overview of the typical subjects taught in our LKG curriculum.


1. English

  •    Introduction to the alphabet.
  •    Basic phonics and letter recognition.
  •    Simple vocabulary and word formation.
  •    Basic comprehension through stories and rhymes.


2.  Mathematics

  •    Number recognition and counting.
  •    Basic shapes and colours.
  •    Introduction to basic mathematical operations (addition and subtraction).
  •    Simple problem-solving activities.


3. General Awareness

  •    Introduction to the surroundings, family, and community.
  •    Awareness of body parts.
  •    Recognising common objects and animals.
  •    Understanding the concept of time (day and night, seasons).


4. Environmental Sciences (EVS)

  •    Introduction to nature and the environment.
  •    Basic understanding of plants and animals.
  •    Awareness of cleanliness and hygiene.
  •    Simple concepts of food and nutrition.
